Curly x POA Solid Chestnut Mare w/ Flaxen Mane
14.0 HH & 850 lbs.
Mo is a curly Curly/POA mix. No pattern, but has a flaxen mane that lightens up in the summer. Age is between 9 and 11 years old, she is not registered. Her sire is *Frostfire's Captain Kirk, who is sired by the well known Curly stud, *Bad Warrior. She leads, loads, stands and has a good disposition. She stands for the vet and farrier, and saddles and bridles without fuss.
She needs an intermediate rider right now due to her not being ridden in the past few months. With some more time on her, she would make a fine beginners horse. Was trained for barrels, speed n' action, and other gymkhana events, but hasn't been conditioned on the patterns in a few years so would need a tune up before running. She has been ridden on trails, by traffic, by herself, in groups, through obstacle courses and water. She is not spooky.
She does have a nose twitch from being kicked as a foal, but this does not inhibit her in any way, and does not cause her any pain.
